Azim Premji bids goodbye to Wipro
Azim Premji quits Wipro, the company he built
as a software giant on a high reiterating Mahatma Gandhi's description of an
entrepreneur as a trustee, not the owner. He has donated an astronomical sum of over 1.5 lakh
crores(67% of his share in Wipro)to the various philanthropic endowments
created to further social and community initiatives in Education,Health and
Environment. He is the first Indian billionaire to have signed the famed 'pledge your wealth campaign' aimed at motivating the wealthiest people to donate huge sums for furthering charitable causes across the world, which was famously championed by the likes of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.
